Jessica VanDerFeen Au.D., CCC-A

Doctor of Audiology

 

Jessica Van der Feen is an audiologist with 20 years of experience working with children and adults. She earned her Masters of Arts from UCONN in 1998 and her Doctor of Audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2008.  

 

She has been employed in clinical and educational settings administering a variety of diagnostic and amplification services.  Jessica has worked extensively with public school systems providing educational audiology and aural habilitation services to mainstreamed deaf and hard of hearing students. 

 

Aural habilitation is one-on-one listening therapy that promotes listening and spoken language skills by targeting and strengthening a student's auditory skills using his/her amplification.  Aural habilitation can benefit a student of any age who uses cochlear implants or hearing aids.   

 

Jessica is also a Birth to Three service coordinator.
